The device can be obtained in two ways:
- Renting the device for months or years with the possibility of resignation every month. This is the best solution in terms of finances and safety of the device’s efficiency. By renting the device, you are not its owner, so you do not have to worry when it breaks down, because it is insured and you get another one after returning the damaged one. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to buy a device at the start. You can rent the device during periods when you need it most for traveling and shipping medicines. By renting the device, you have additional benefits such as consultations with a diabetic, ordering medicines online, a free meal planner application and every two years of permanent renting you get a new device in place of the old one at no extra charge.
- Purchasing the device as your own is standard procedure where you pay the full fee and receive the Xobox as your own property. You get a warranty for 2 years and additional possibilities and services that are available when renting only for an additional fee. All additional options are visible on the Pricing subpage in Plan for Xobox.
If you do not know which plan will be the most beneficial for you, it is best to contact the Xobox team to determine your needs and adjust the device model and rental or purchase plan.
When renting a Xobox, you can choose the time of owning the device on a monthly or annual basis. If you pay the subscription monthly, every 30 days from the start of the rental (the day you receive the device by courier), the fixed amount for the next month of use is collected. This happens cyclically every 30 days and if you want to end the rental, you must report it in advance to stop charging the rental. In the case of annual settlements, the procedure for collecting payments and retaining the rental is the same. A year (360 days) is counted from the start of the rental (the day you receive the device by courier) so you can submit a cancellation request via email: info@xobox.co.uk at any time, but the rental paid for the year is not refundable before its agreed date temporarily completed.
The rental procedure as part of monthly or annual cooperation is automatically extended and funds are debited under the agreed subscription from the bank card connected to the payment system (you cannot change the payment card yourself as part of cooperation without informing the Xobox team in advance). Any resignation for the end of the rental period must be made at the landlord’s initiative by informing info@xobox.co.uk by e-mail
The entire rental process is automated and remote when signing the contract with the landlord’s verification. On the Pricing website, there are 3 options for purchasing a ColdBox device, of which 2 options are standardized rental options:
- Single Rent
- Collective Rent
Each of the above has one subscription approval path with signing the contract, verification and payment, up to entering data for sending the device by courier. Before signing the contract, you should read the document that will be signed on the “Legal Agreement” and “Privacy Policy” pages.
Rental process:
- You choose one of the 2 options by clicking the “Get Rent Now” button
- You are redirected to the “Rental Form” where you enter your data, choose what you rent in which option and attach the required documents. At the bottom is a summary of the order for the specified amount. You click on the button “Going to the Agreement”
- Here you can re-read the entire contract you sign with the option of downloading it to your own device in a PDF file. We have selected the most important information from the contract that you should know before signing it. You tick the required check boxes and at the end there is a large field in which you put your electronic signature through: a mask, a special pad or your finger on a mobile device.
The system automatically verifies your location where you place the order, thanks to which it enables easier verification of the landlord and speeds up the process of successfully closing the rental. You click on the “Proceed to Payments” button - Depending on your choice, you are redirected to the secure payment panel in PayPal or Stripe. After connecting your own bank card to the subscription system and making the first payment, the rental process is completed. You will receive a confirmation of the rental and payment as well as a signed contract in PDF version to the e-mail address provided.
- The documents you sent along with the data from the form and the payment made are verified by a Xobox employee in order to detect errors or inconsistencies, even the data indicated for sending the device. If everything is correct you will receive a message confirming that the device is ready for shipment. If there are any problems, you will receive an e-mail with a request to remove errors or clarify disputed issues.

Yes, the subscription plan can be changed at any time from monthly to annual and from one device to more. If the landlord wants to change the rental in the other direction, it is required to contact the Xobox service to discuss the contract. When signing a contract, for example, for 1 year of rental, the price for 1 month is slightly less than in the monthly settlement. In such a situation, the lessor must pay the difference between monthly and annual rent, which is left until the end of the year.
